Data We Collect

Google Analytics (GA4)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 automatically collects the following data on each page load:

  • Pages visited, scroll depth, and time on page
  • Referring URL and search terms that brought you here
  • Approximate geographic location (country and city, derived from IP address)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device category
  • IP address (anonymized before storage by Google)
  • A randomly generated client ID stored in a cookie (see Cookies section)

Google LLC processes this data under its privacy policy. We use this data solely to improve site content and navigation — not for targeted advertising.

Cart State (localStorage)

When you add items to the shopping cart, those selections are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear your cart or browser storage. We have no access to it.

Affiliate Click Data

Product links on Espresso Foundry are Amazon affiliate links. When you click one, your browser sends a request to Amazon that includes our affiliate tag (espresso-foundry-20). Amazon may record your visit, IP address, and any subsequent purchase under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated commission reports — not your personal data.

Pricing API (YesCartGo)

The kit builder queries yescartgo.skolez.workers.dev for current product prices. This request includes product ASIN identifiers. No personally identifiable information is sent.

Cookies

Espresso Foundry does not set any first-party cookies before obtaining your consent. If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BF2FDR6KMM) sets the following cookies:

Disable Google Analytics

To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or use a browser with built-in tracker blocking.

Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our GA4 account (maximum 14 months). localStorage data remains on your device until you manually delete it. We do not store personal data on our own servers.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us to have it promptly removed.
